(Lost login) Ohio Mike rested and ready for football.
Backer play can only get batter. Last season was rough despite individual statistics. If we allow another 2,400 yards and 25 touchdowns this could be a long season. Anticipate our returners will only be better under Nowinsky. I am excited to see RS Freshman CJ Hankins is at OU. Hankins is from St. Edward where he played Mike for 2 years and will for 1 in the same scheme, calling fronts for 3 years and was a tackling machine.. As far as fits and leading a new Defense he could be ready. He was one of the best run stoppers I�ve seen in High School playing top teams, adding interceptions as well. Hankins is just a gamer. If not in 22� likely will lead our D in the future but I would not be shocked if he climbed the depth chart when pads come on in August. Sounds like he is looking fast in summer workouts. One backer coming back from injury so we may see a rotation, as well as the Olentangy LB could see the field. As a former Mike and LB Coach we have to be more physical from the whole front.

He mentioned defensive tackles and middle linebackers as the strength of the defense�.he mentioned Thompson and Houston.

Coach also said Ben Johnson was now a safety�moving from linebacker..Ben was also a special teams demon.

Coach Nowinsky comes off very well in the interview. Great content for Bobcat football junkies. I was always impressed with his work at that other school. I�m excited to see what he does here.
