You have to give this young man some credit for the things he has done in finishing out the season. Stepping in when needed, finishing out the regular season, a respectable performance in the MAC Championship and winning a bowl game. We all wish that we had had Rourke healthy to finally win the MAC. But it's been a great season, so let's celebrate that and move on to 2023. Staff I felt worked on a lot of the mistakes from Toledo including throwing the ball within 2 minutes instea of runs to get that game tying FG. Wyomings decision to ice Vakos or some of those PT calls that were, were not justified or should have been called. Then to end up on top after all of it was impressive. Three starts and getting 2 wins. He is a lot like the Early Solich QB's we had. Staff dusted off the Solich playbook with his skill set. Really like to see Albin use both CJ Harris and Roark next year. Not sure recovery time for Roark. Maybee CJ plays early in season until Roark 100%. Maybee a goaline package. He's no Rourke, but it feels good to know we have a capable back-up that continues to grow and can lead the team through some early games next season.
