We might need to pin a new topic to keep up with these now that the season is over.

Hopefully this is the last major move, but Bostic just declared for the NFL draft via instagram. Not sure he had an eligibility left anyway.

NFL Draft:

- James Bostic
- Kai Caeser
- Zack Sanders
- Alvin Floyd

Portal Losses (starters + back-ups):

Seems like a lot of guys declaring this year, no? Do we usually get this many or is this a good year regarding NFL talent?

10 win teams attract a lot of scouts. So it's best they declare now. We will see how many teams will be here at Pro Day. Caesar really enhanced his stock. Zack has some interceptions so that helps him but I'm not sure of his a draft grade against other DBs yet. Bostic brings size and possession WR abilities with a shot to make a squad. Floyd could be a box safety in the league with his ability to cover around 15 yards and in as well as support the run. Can't wait to see in a few months.

Can't blame them for testing the waters. If it doesn't work out they can always come back if they haven't signed with an agent.

Of those mentioned in this thread - Floyd, Sanders, Bostic, Caeser - I'm not sure any have eligibility left. DCF, on the other hand, might.

If Sanders moves on, hopefully we get a big year from Walter Reynolds, Holy Cross, and a JUCO transfer Byron Pearson.

A bigger year from Dontay Hunter should help pick-up the slack left by Caeser.

They best declare now because they can’t come back. All were COVID super-seniors this year.

With this competition DFC may have to settle for a free agent contract! ;-)
