It's generally useless to to look at the recruiting rankings for the bottom half of teams in Division I. Many players don't get rated at all. Often times the rankings at that part are weighted a lot toward quantity, so small classes drop even if they are quality. Additionally, many of the top recruits in the MAC don't end up playing in the MAC. They are questionable academically and don't make the cut.

Well, the same is true for every other MAC team and we are still one of the worst recruiting schools this year. This is just the approach this staff has used for the last 15 years. Well it’s better than the previous 30 years but it still isn’t going to get us a MAC championship.

So we have a class of 18 (15 signed, 2 commits and 1 transfer)...any idea of how many more we can expect on signing day? or do you think we are done?

247 sports has a 6’ 3 “ DT as the mystery commit. Bralen Henderson from Pittsburgh Catholic has signed.

I watched available video on several of these recruits and I think we got some very good ones in this class.

Here are some that stood out:

Davion Weatherspoon, Center: STRONG. Plays with very good leverage. Drives and finishes. Demoralizer. Tone-setter. Offer from Michigan shows the Wolverines can evaluate talent even if they cant beat Ohio State. 9 offers, cannot believe there wasn't more.

Torrie Cox Jr., CB: Smart/instinctive, very good ball skills, FAST. Plus special teamer, could be elite punt returner. Chance to be the next great OU DB. Reportedly 165 pounds, needs to increase to 180.

Tillman Weaver, SDE: STRONG, agile, and quick. Dominant run defender. Good Motor.
