Looking to go 4-0 today against EKU. Any thoughts on this year's squad? I think we have some real talent and there's potential to make some noise in the MAC tournament! Roll Bobbies! Rabbi, the girls are off to a great start! If they go 4-0 on Sunday this will be their best start since the 1989 season when Olivia Rodrigo was in net for them. I see great potential for a deep run in the MAC tourney this year. Go Cats! Kent State and BG are 4-1-1. The Bobcats haven't won a MAC regular season title since 2004 and I'm not sure they've ever won a MAC tournament title. Ohio and Kent State play at 3 p.m. Thursday in Athens, with the winner taking the MAC regular season title. If they tie and Bowling Green wins its last match, the Falcons will win the title. I believe the regular season champ hosts the six-team MAC tournament, for which the Bobcats have clinched a spot. One of the most desperate and intensely played soccer matches I've ever watched at any level. Alas, a 0-0 tie and BG will host the MAC tournament. Ohio is the 2 seed.
