If they give him a buyout this will be the end of the story. If they try to not pay him for cause this will drag out.

Lots of talk around Lexington/KY of John Calipari taking the Texas job. The natives are definitely restless, and I think most are ready for him to go ...

Following the dust up between Calipari and Mark Stoops this past Fall, I think AD Mitch Barnhart (OU alum), is perhaps ready as well. He does have a "lifetime" contract.

If he’s looking to leave, there is definitely a reason. (IMO)
