They're back to pre-Reggie days.

I'm more concerned over the Fiami game next weekend.

Their buzz-beater win over Akron was unexpected. It's possible that it shows a bit of weakness in road games for Akron and strength for Fiami at home. Glad our road game at Akron is out of the way. Gotta hold serve at home vs Fiami since winning at their place is far from assured.

Yeah, they're bad, but their two/three guys inside are tough.

- Smith averages 8 points, 9 rebounds, 1 block.

- Chatman averages 18 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1 block.

- Adams had 24 in a loss at Toledo last week.

Luckily, we're at home and think we can bury them fast, BUT beat us inside... think you have a good shot at beating us. Don't think they will, but would anyone be *that* surprised?

I don't think this team can afford to look ahead to anyone. Beat Buffalo first. You don't want to head into Saturday with an embarrassing L on your back. Go into hopefully a big crowd game for Sibs Weekend with some momentum.

Need to go on a little bit of a run here before we head into the final stretch of 6 away games in the final 9.

Recent events makes it weird to see Buffalo be so bad. But for many of us, it feels like the world is set right again. They joined in 1998 and were absolutely terrible, the doormat of the league, for about 6-7 years and the entire time I was a student, like shab. Same story for football.

We overlapped as I'm an '04 grad and agreed! The 2005 MACC win in such dramatic fashion is still satisfying to this day because I felt like they were such a lowly team at the time and winning the MAC wasn't for them. Still my all-time favorite Bobcat Basketball victory/memory as I was able to be there in person after seeing bad losses in 2001 and 2003-2001 especially.

Extra ticket for Buffalo game --> FREE

Just tacked it up to the dog food shelves in the lobby of Seaman's on W. Union

First person who gets it....gets it.

I'm an '06 and would 100% pay for copies of the MAC tournament run and the comeback vs. Florida in the NCAA Tournament.

I fully drank the Kool-Aid going into the next year and thought there was no way we weren't making the tournament again. LOL.

It's not so far-fetched that it's out of the realm of possibilities, but there's a good analog from the women's team in their 10-point win at Central Michigan that says we shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Bump.

Some guy who saw me tack it up said he would have wanted it, if it was two instead of one. Does he know they sell tickets at the convo and he could have bought a second one there as needed? If people can afford to shop at Seaman's....

Not counting this one in the win column until we've actually won the game.

Maybe he was broke after buying a bag of groceries at Seaman's instead of Walmart.

A very long history of very cheap and in some cases free tickets to Bobcat games is still fairly deeply engrained in the minds of many in the Athens area. Inflationary prices have not hit SE Ohio for sports and entertainment events. Shows at Mem Aud are often half of what they cost in Columbus or Charleston the next day. The printed price on my Indigo Girls tickets for March are $35. That said, Jason Isbell tickets in April for the first 10 rows were $125.

I had two tickets to the game sitting on my front seat. Someone broke into my car and left two more.

Our small guards just have problems going in the lane against the big guys.
