Stinger of a loss tonight - but have to say O-Zone was 7/10 tonight.

Was more successful in starting some "Defense" and "OOOOO" chants tonight. Just again felt like Norm was taking too much of the load tonight. More kids were standing which was a plus but still need improvement / inclusion of "you you you ONNNN YOU!" Hope the team can rebound from this loss and win out the rest of the year.

Rome wasn't built in a day. If you see improvement, that's good. Keep it simple; there's going to be people coming who aren't diehards and willing to study things. The easier it is for them to jump in, the better.

Thanks JSF! I think the approach of keeping simple chants last night really helped get everyone in on it. I hope the national tv audience saw a lively student section because it sounded like it for a majority of that second half.

Glad we could make a great impression on a national audience!

Watching this game on TV, the student section sounded and felt like it did when I was in school in the early 2010's. You could tell it was loud, students were into it. A solid piece of foundation to build upon. Keep it up!

Thanks Kyle! Also looking to take steps toward reviving the O-Zone social media accounts and making consistent posts and I had the idea to get with the 110 and have them instruct some chants 101 so we can join in!

Total props for your dedication! I was so bummed we lost but that atmosphere was electric. I do not know where the student support went for 2-3 years (before the pandemic) but it is back! It is easy to say the program has to win, etc. I have been to more games than most in the Convo. Teams weren't always great but support earned us the "Best fans in the MAC" designation. Keep it up! It is critical to the home court advantage and the players count on it.

I will! Trying to capitalize on the momentum especially trying to just piece together a GroupMe and taking with the AD about reviving the Instagram account to engage with students to keep them coming back.

Boals just said that the atmosphere you created will help recruiting so keep up the good work to bring the student section back.

I saw that, and I will! Also really want to use the O-Zone Instagram to welcome recruits and connect with the players as well! A few additional tweaks and I'm sure we will have a very passionate and organized student section.
