I'll defer to those who know more about the recruiting process than I, but this seems to me to be one of the best commitments we've had in a long, long time, in terms of the number of other offers from quality teams.

Was he at the game? I'm not surprised to see defensive commitments after that great defensive performance.

I can't answer that, but he's rated 85 by 247Sports, which is probably in the top 15 from them. He's rated 5.7 by Rivals, and Ohio occasionally gets a player ranked that highly, the most recent that I show being Daxon and Tyler Foster. He is unrated by ESPN. As far as offers, yes, he has good offers, but not unusual.

This is just a guess but he's from Thad Turner's territory in Macon area of Georgia.
