We gained 2 yards on 1st down to the 1-yard line. Thus, running it on 2nd down made total sense. The resulting loss on 2nd sucked.

Just wondering who these "other guys" who did both are.

For full disclosure, I would be comfortable with this ranking:

1. Nathan Rourke
2. Old Freaky Nasty
3. Tettleton
4. K. Rourke

I have no way of evaluating Bob Snyder. I also think you can shuffle these rankings without much argument. I don't see a way to get K. Rourke to #1.

1. Nathan Rourke
2. Tettleton
3. Cleve Bryant
4. Kareem Wilson
5. Boo Jackson
6. Kurtis Rourke
190. Chet Feldman

Feldman shoots up from 190 to #1 when considering Ohio quarterbacks that also got minutes for the Bobcat basketball team.

What a horrible use of the clock there.

3rd and 1 from 8 yards out, about 15-16 seconds on the clock.

Instead of taking a timeout and taking a shot to the end zone, they bleed the clock down to 4 seconds and kick the FG.

Navarro is dealing, let him go to work. Pick up an easy 1st, then take a few shots.

turnover on downs

And some folks go SMH - LOL

Way to step up staff and players. Get points to start the second half then attack their QB.

That was Pass Interference.

Actually it wasn’t. For it to be DPI, the official would have to reach for the black balled flag tucked into his belt, remove the flag and toss it on to the field. That would then make it a DPI (or any foul). Sorry, couldn’t resist.

I felt that way on the possession they went for it on fourth down. I feel we could've squeezed a shot to the end zone out of the last possesion.

BINGO, let the game come to him, put him in positions to find success and build confidence. That is what coaching actually is!

Some of those folks, myself included, know GA Southern is 13th in FBS in passing. They score quick.

20 points is a nice cushion and the defense - as always - is playing out of their minds, but I hope we keep the peddle down and don't let them stay in it.

Now that they're down, they're gonna come out firing and attacking bc they have nothing to lose... how will we respond?

Agree on taking the three earlier. especially after the dropped pass on 3rd down.

Kareem Wilson is a great selection. Tettleton never was better than third team all conference and that was with a loaded team. As for Boo Jackson, I froze my ass watching him suck away a chance to get to the title game at Kent and then he gets benched for the bowl game for academic crap. He's not anywhere on my list.

their qb also leads the nation in interceptions. put him a position where he has to throw and i’ll take my chances with OUr defense.

This offense is designed for a QB like Navarro. I did not expect him to be as effective passer as he has been today. I still think KRourke is better, but Navarro looks good in this offense.

He has completed 16 of his first 17 pass attempts.

13 by the intended targets and 3 by Ohio Bobcats.

I expected us to win, but did not expect this. Great performance. Players and coaches were definitely ready for this one.
