Baylor just threw down the coolest dunk of the year.

Looked like RayJ Dennis on the assist. I think Missi will eventually be a solid pro. He's just a freshman at Baylor but appears to have all the tools needed to be an NBA guy.

Dennis had another good game for Baylor last night in a comeback win over Texas. 8 more assists and I think he scored 16 or so.

UT up v. Miami 54-24 at the half at Millett.

If this continues, is this an issue or not with Ohio visiting Millett on Friday?

Can you name 2 former MAC players listed in an NBA box score from last night (one was a DNP)? Without looking it up?

Note: topic title says basketball games, not college basketball games.

EMU, without MAC leading scorer Tyson Acuff, wins at Akron by 1 point.

Does that mean wins Thursday and OHIO meets the Zips on Friday?

Not yet. An Akron win and Toledo loss would elevate Akron back to the 1. Akron loses a tiebreaker with Toledo since we beat Akron once but did not beat Toledo.

Unreal. One of the biggest upsets I can remember in the MAC.

John Groce in March, I tell ya...

Austin Peay has a real shot at the ASUN. #1 seed EKU knocked off. AP hosts a semifinal game tomorrow against North Alabama.

Youngstown State starts their journey to the NCAA tournament tonight vs Cleveland State.

Feels crazy it's already March.

Maybe next year Penguins. Wash rinse repeat.

I tuned in to Pepperdine/Pacific earlier. Pepperdine fired their coach earlier this year and still won this game by almost 60! Pacific was as ass as you'd think.

Now on to the A-Sun semifinal. Jacksonville is 5-11 in conference but they are up late but close against Stetson.

Big nuts late game winning shots for Stetson and Western Illinois in their respective tourneys.

Wright and NKU tied late. Wright had a huge lead earlier but that has evaporated. The Horizon is always a wild tournament.

NKU came back from 17 down and offs Wright State on their home floor.

Wright State this year: 5th in offensive ppg and 344th in scoring defense.

In finals against Stetson. Dezi Jones went off for 34 points. AP has won 9/10.

I watched a lot of BYU-Iowa St (Stevie Taylor's current employer) a few nights ago. BYU was in complete control, up 14 with 15 minutes to go...then more or less lost their minds and let Iowa St storm back and beat them in the closing minutes. BYU had a ton of late turnovers, 3 in consecutive possessions late when the game was either tied or within a point or two. BYU had the ball down 1, shot clock off, and their PG lost the ball out of bounds on a forced drive into a defender. Rough way to gack one up.

One my favorite collegiate mascots. Got to love the name Stetson Hatters.

I peaked into the High Point/Radford Big South quarterfinal game that HPU is hosting. Wow their new arena is wonderful. Reminds me of Charleston's. packed house in the middle of the afternoon. Former Ohio Associate AD Dan Hauser runs the show there.

HPU has an outstanding seven foot freshman. #OMGDUNX for days and 19 rebounds. How did little High Point snag him? I'm sure you'll see him at Clemson or North Carolina State at some point, unfortunately.

CBSSN announcer calls foul on Ali Ali Ali a "on tilt foul." Have to disagree. I'd put Crump on the line every chance you get. Hack-a-Shaq strategy. I'd be surprised if WMU coach doesn't get him off the floor with a lead late in the game.
