Stay healthy and get your degree and don't become crippled over a game that isn't going to pay your bills. Maybe he can become a manager and eventually into coaching or something? I've never talked to Chase, but I bet that might be on his radar. However, Dad had injury issues when he played, so he must know the reality of such. Father and son dynamics are always potentially complicated. Throw in the fact that Dad is your basketball coach too, and, Wow, there must be a lot of emotions at play here. I don't know either one of these men, but I hope that this all turns out positive for both of them. He's also still going to be a great teammate from the bench, and on the bus etc. He will be missed in the weight room and practice court though. It isn't the 1970's anymore... ACL surgeries are routine and you can get back relatively quick. He's in the best possible spot to recover and continue his career.
