2024 November/December…deer in headlights.

2025 January….different swagger on the floor. The kid has confidence and he’s finding the right spots on the court and he is very competent. That’s all we can ask for as a true freshman big. He is also rebounding and doing the little things. His two tap outs to his teammates after missed shots stood out. His feel is so much better now. Hats off to the coaching staff for getting him better and better. Excited to watch him continue to develop this season and beyond.

Yep, he looks like a completely different player in the last three games than he did in non-conference play. If he maintains this development curve, he could be very good in a couple of years.

And this year, if he can give us a different look for 8 or 9 minutes a game without fouling the way he was earlier in the season, that's pretty valuable.

Very curious to see if he can do this against the MACs competent teams.

Yes, he can be there with some playing time this year. Some of us oldies remember when freshmen would come in and dominate and be all MAC in a year two. He is athletic and will adjust with the game speed and the defense. He could be all MAC if he stays.

He knew when and how much to play Evans in the non-conference season.

Looking forward to seeing him get more minutes as the season plays out. Big tests coming up with Sparks/Ball State and Akron this week.

Yes solid development. DNP in 7 of the first 17 games, and under 3 min of PT in 3 of the other games he played in. How can he not see the floor against Akron with Hadaway hurt? 6'8" athletic bigs dont grow on trees in the MAC. Keep this up and chances are slim he sticks around next year.

This HAS to be satire. He literally DNP'd when we were down 20 w/ 5 mins left, and crashed out last night.

This was posted when I truly believed the coaching staff was committed to giving Evans minutes every game moving forward. I don’t think I was the only one who felt this way. Disappointed Evans didn’t get minutes against Akron. Makes no sense….especially with Chaos getting hurt.
