The appropriate question is: "Is it football season yet?" frowncool

Let’s take care of business (and let Winther know he’d look good in green and white next year.)

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

Maybe identify and pursue potential players from NIU (football too) who aren’t particularly fond of frequent flying.

This brings back memories of some of the “campus highlights” in The Post about this time in 1974. Was all the buzz for a few weeks. :)

Spring of 1974. It was a big deal at Muskingum too.

Years ago there was a rather local story that I heard was true but I was not there so perhaps it’s just a myth. Anyway, a new husband decided, unbenownst to the wife, that he was going to streak during a school reunion. According to the story, it happened and the couple split shortly thereafter. Two things were not in the husband’s favor: 1.) this was allegedly performed where basically everyone knew everyone, and, 2. It was done quite a while after the fad had passed. Therefore, it was not viewed in quite the same light-hearted way.

I always thought that perhaps there were cracks already in their relationship and this was the one that “broke the camel’s back” so to speak. :)

You have to figure with these recent posts that these Bobcats are going on a Streak. Let us thrill all the fans with OUr new found naked aggression on the courts.

Go Bobcats! Pick up the effort on defense and the boards as several of you only have weeks remaining in your college careers, so hold nothing back. Stop pacing yourselves the season is closing fast and end with a flurry of good memories for each of you and your teammates. Relax, have fun and enjoy your streak.

5.5 point favorites. I hate these games, last of the year of this variety. Honestly a pretty big one for how the season ends up looking, feels like a big difference between 9-6 and 8-7. A win sets us up to bury Toledo & Umass behind us while a loss invites them to leap us.

This reads like an Iron Chef subtitle.

I'd like to make the Horizon Conference regret their magnanimity. But I'm not banking on it.

If you are a Bobcat fan and you see what is happening at Miami and you are still ok with Jeff Boals currently as our head coach then you are off the reservation. They have a national ranking, Myles Garrett, National TV..it keeps going. All we hope for is a win over NIU to stay above .500.

People wondering about why Breath is not any better based on where he transferred from....not all mid-major transfers are equal. Just like all D-2 transfers are not guaranteed to be as good as Smock or Searles. Most would NOT be.

It turns out the league Breath transferred from is many notches below the MAC...

The 23rd ranked basketball conference in D-1? Meh.

Evans subbing in for Simmons at first media time out. What's Breath's status?

I believe Mister Softee is dressed and sitting at end of bench.

Someone needs to investigate how NIU won four conference games this season.

Very solid first half, good defense and handled the ball well. Shooting continues to be a problem. The start of the second half has been a disaster. This team misses more point blank shots than any team I’ve watched this year.

I know we’ve been rough on Sheldon but shoutout to him for figuring it out. He’s been solid for a few weeks now

If Sheldon just plays within the game, he is OK. It’s when he goes into Helter skelter mode that he just sucks.

After being shredded to ribbons by fiami on national TV?

If Boals is retained, I hope his judgement on transfers gets better.

Feels like a on the edge motorcycle ride through the Hocking Hills....in control but never know what's over the next hill or around the next corner. Lots of time left in this onne.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Sheldon has not hurt us the last few games. Craptain Crappos continues to miss the most bunnies, dribble down a clock with zero points and play Olay defense the best. And Breath is dead to Boals? Come on.
