This might be the first time I've ever seen BLove and BLove SOS in the same place.

Absolutely gutted for BVP.

Nobody worked harder, put in more time, or deserved the reward of playing in and experiencing a deep March run with an elite team than BVP did.

Not sure what his ultimate career aspirations are, considering he'll have multiple masters degrees. But I'd think he could play some overseas if he decides that's something he wants. Or, he could call it a very VERY successful career and go start the next chapter of his life.

Wish him well either way.

Why are you "absolutely gutted" for him? You should be gutted for his dad, who decided to guide his son's career and make unilateral decisions for him. Bye, Felicia.

Bad take.

Seriously, such anger. Someone refer B-Love to a therapist to work thru these issues.

+1. I have nothing but respect for what he did for us, and to put him on blast is pretty ludicrous - I'm pretty sure he made that own decision for himself.

My parents taught me that if you had nothing nice to say, to say nothing at all. Unfortunately, I don't always listen to my parents. You're an *insert expletive*.

BVP, an academic all-american, will have the opportunity to play basketball professionally if he wants after starting for a top-10 team in the ACC. He's smart enough that he can become a successful professional in whatever profession he chooses next, if not playing hoops. And, both he and his whole family are super down-to-earth and genuinely nice people.

We need more BVPs and less BLs.

Fox News isn't make believe?

The network whose major players, including figures like Rupert Murdoch and Tucker Carlson, sent out emails and text messages revealing that many of them disbelieved the claims of election fraud aired by Donald Trump allies on Fox programs — but that they were concerned Trump-supporting viewers would flip to other channels if Fox journalists contradicted the false claims on air.

That Fox News?

Cable news is basically we almost never do out own journalism but we can take the news stories generated by real news organizations, throw out 80% of the stories because they don't fit a narrative that reinforces our viewers world view. Then we can harp and harp on a few stories most likely to stir them up and keep them coming back. They can both be terrible news networks. But it had become pretty evident in the last 6 or 7 years that, at least with the opinion shows, that FOX had moved beyond this and was literally starting to make things up. Now with people going under oath we know for a fact that this is true and was intentional and planned out. As to the extent to which this happens at MSNBC, if at all, I don't think we know yet. That doesn't mean that it isn't awful in its own right.

I recall first saying when I was at Ohio many moons ago that step zero in basic human decency is waking up everyday with the intention of trying to disprove everything that you believe in. Everything you think is at least little bit wrong because the whole truth literally doesn't fit in a human brain and some of it is very wrong. That's true for all of it. But unless you make on honest attempt to disprove it you are saying that you don't care because personal growth is harder than just continuing on literally not caring about right and wrong. In the years since then cable news has, IMO, turned most Americans into truly awful human beings. I know I am way off topic so I'll stop now and now reply further on this.

Anyway, Mark Sears has the opportunity tomorrow to add an SEC championship to the much more exclusive MAC championship.

More power to him!

However, in the Toledo game I am totally comfortable having the Sears replacements of the law firm Baker & Hunter as my Bobcats...

And living in a fantasy life could you imagine the four guard rotation of the two above while adding super freshmen James and Brown and a few minutes by Miles if needed to BVP and Wilson? With Roderick and Clayton to give but a few minutes rest for the two bigs and trained to shoot till you miss but playing defense and rebounding? Oh man, sweet 16 power for certain.

Make it a great day everyone!

Were it not for BVP's injury, he and Sears could have run into each other in the tournament.

BVP repeats as the Academic All-American of the Year. I think he is only the third player to ever do that.

Awesome, thanks for posting. How many players have completed their college basketball careers with 4 degrees, including 3 Masters? I will enjoy following BVP's career.

If BVP were healthy, I wonder if Boals would be there to cheer these two on if they faced in the tournament? That seems like a move Boals would make, though decked out in OHIO gear.
