Team to watch out for: Drake. Absolutely curbed stomped Bradley yesterday in the MVC Tournament Final in St. Louis. Old roster full of smart players. Saw a graphic that said their starting lineup is older than 3 NBA starting lineups.

Looks like YSU is going down.

If I were BG, their coach would be at the top of my list. He's made comments this year that would suggest he's more than open to moving along. Probably fewer suitors now.

That ended up being a pretty decent game. From down nearly 25, and getting their score doubled to going on a 19-5 run. The way they came back I thought for sure they had the W. Those referees should've swallowed the whistle, their calls changed the game.

And I agree, Calhoun put together a great team who bought in. BG could do A LOT worse.

Cleveland State is probably headed the NCAA tournament. Good for them.

Check this out. NKU and CSU have the same overall and conference records, split their series, and both of those games were decided by one point. And here they are in the final.

And NKU wins by 2 in yet another good game.

The Norse have really put together a strong mid major program. This is their 3rd trip to the dance in the last 5 years.

IMO they should become a staple in our non-con schedule.

Cincinnati alums thank you in advance.

Ivy League absolutely must rework the rotating final system. Can't have the 1 seed playing @ the 2 seed unless it's at the Palestra full-time.

In fact, just make it at the Palestra full time.

That isn't great for the #1 seed but at least it is rotating. Back 25 years ago the gap between the power 6 and the next best conferences wasn't quite as big as it now but the worst leagues were still pretty awful because the gap between them and the best non-power conferences was bigger than today. ESPN would run conference championships constantly every evening during championship week. Now some of them, even on weeknights, get put on ESPN2 and ESPNU to show the early rounds of huge power tournaments. But these "low-major" championships were always on home courts where one school more or less purchased home field. It used to make me sick watching a 28-4 #1 seed with absolutely no hope of at at-large bid but with a real capability of a first round NCAA upset playing at an 17-15 #3 seed, who had also played their first two games at home, and fighting for their life in front of a crazy crowd full of at lot of students from the #3 seed who were playing attention to basketball for the first time all season. Rotation or giving hone court to the #1 seed are far better than buying it. I'd definitely rather see a central neutral court, and secondly #1 seed home court than rotation. But anything is better than one school having every year by outbidding everyone.

The A10 used to have its tournament at the Palestra before the Ivy had a tournament they moved the A10 into the Sixers home arena.

Kent going to face #4 seed Indiana in first round. I think they can pull off the upset.

That’s a pretty disrespectful seed.
