I have checked the records, as well as the Internet, and yes I can confirm that Guardians is the MLB baseball franchise in Cleveland. I'm hoping to hit a Guardians game next week. I tried to find an Indians schedule and found nothing. They are my favorite professional franchise and its not even relatively close. I was pissed off at first when the MLB traded us the all-star game for the Chief and name, however, I've grown into accepting the new brand. Its not that bad, I actually like the new logo better. I find a ton of fans have picked up on using the phrase "Go Guards" and I'm perfectly ok with it. They gave us plenty of time to prepare for the change.
